Jenkins Twp.

AimeeMaire Grabosky-Rios, 45 of Jenkins Twp., passed away peacefully amongst family and friends at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital on September 11, 2023 after a short illness.
Aimee resided in the Jenkins Twp./Pittston area where she was born. She was a 1996 graduate of Seton Catholic and attended King’s College on academic scholarships. In 1998, Aimee was blessed with the birth of her daughter Kaitlyn Boroska.
Aimee was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years and had various other jobs. She was a very compassionate, caring, and nurturing person. With the birth of her second child Nicholas Rios, she enjoyed being a stay-home mom. Aimee was a self-proclaimed “cat lady” as she adored her many cats. She took care of her family, despite many obstacles.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen Sheridan-Grabosky, whom she adored and spent as much time with as possible. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joseph T. and Margaret Sheridan, paternal grandparents Albert and Shirley Grabosky, Uncle Robert Sheridan, Aunt Cheryl Grabosky-Shager, and numerous great-aunts and great-uncles.
She is survived by her husband Domingo Rios, daughter Kaitlyn Boroska, son Nicholas Rios, step-daughter Julie Carroll-Rios, father Albert C. Grabosky, brothers Chris, AJ, and Jeff Grabosky, and Uncle Tony Grabosky (Sue), Uncle Joseph Sheridan (Theresa), Aunt Maureen Murphy (Tom), half-sisters Terina Grabosky-Rios, Tahnee Grabosky, many nieces, nephews, great-aunts and uncles, and grandchildren.
Although Aimee dealt with pain and health issues of her own, she always LIT UP EVERYONE’S LIFE with her sarcastic and unbelievable sense of humor, especially among her closest family and friends.
Aimee always found time to help various causes, especially the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was a co-founder of Our Brother’s Keepers foundation. She was selfless in her many endeavors in helping those in need. This is who Aimee was.
Memorial donations to help her family can be made through “Our Brother’s Keeper” foundation on the Go Fund Me account.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
